Introducing New Members of the HealthChain Community of Practice

The HealthChain Community of Practice (CoP) continues to grow! 🌍


This collaborative network brings together organizations from across Europe that are driving innovation in healthcare systems. Its mission is to foster knowledge exchange, mutual learning, and co-creation of solutions grounded in real healthcare needs.

By connecting clusters, researchers, entrepreneurs, and healthcare providers, HealthChain promotes sustainable innovation and helps bridge the gap between research, technology, and patient care.

In this article, we’re delighted to introduce four new members of our Community of Practice:


Eurecat

Based in Catalonia, Spain, Eurecat plays a central and dynamic role in shaping the regional health and social care ecosystem with a global outlook. The organization fosters collaboration across research, industry, healthcare providers, public administration, and citizens—driving innovation through hubs, communities, accelerators, and transformative projects.

Its mission is to co-create and transfer advanced technologies, products, and methodologies that address unmet clinical needs, contributing to a more personalized, preventive, predictive, and participatory model of healthcare—always with the patient at the center.


Health Technology Cluster iVita

iVita is Lithuania’s leading health technology cluster, bringing together 34 members including SMEs, universities, clinics, and major companies to strengthen collaboration in digital health, biotechnology, rehabilitation, and related fields.

By joining HealthChain, iVita aims to expand its network, build connections with EU health ecosystems, and access opportunities for cross-border collaboration and EU funding instruments.

Key areas of focus include digital health innovation, health data interoperability, and the application of AI in diagnostics and patient care.


Imago-Mol Cluster

The Imago-Mol Cluster, based in Romania, is a dynamic health innovation ecosystem fostering collaboration among healthcare providers, medtech and healthtech companies, patient organizations, and research institutions.

Its mission is to enhance innovation competitiveness in the North East Region by advancing the use of medical imaging, digital health, and precision medicine.

Imago-Mol values HealthChain’s co-creation approach to innovation—ensuring technologies are relevant, sustainable, and user-friendly. Their work supports cross-sector collaboration and the translation of innovation into real-world healthcare impact.


BIOIB – Biotechnological and Biomedical Cluster of the Balearic Islands

BIOIB represents the life sciences ecosystem of the Balearic Islands, Spain, bringing together companies, research centers, and institutions to boost innovation, technology transfer, and collaboration in biotechnology and biomedicine.

By joining HealthChain, BIOIB seeks to share its regional expertise, learn from other European regions, and showcase innovations emerging from the islands.
