CRIA (Division of Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer) is a structure of the University of Algarve designed to promote relations between the research and development units and/or researchers of the University and companies, to support the establishment of new companies (start-ups and spin-offs) that benefit from the transfer of knowledge, to manage incubation spaces that welcome technology-based companies, to popularize the registration of patents and the exploration of the remaining mechanisms of industrial property, to dynamize consortia responsible for applied research projects and to develop lines of external cooperation, particularly in the international field.
